Himalayan Mustard

Note: Some of the recipes may list other spice blends in the ingredient list. Those recipes will work beautifully with Himalayan Mustard. Substitute the spice blend in the recipe list with equal measurements. Some recipes can also be adjusted to use a paste that is brushed on. Just use the simple recipe below.

Making a Mustard Paste

Follow the simple process to make a deep mustard paste that can be used in recipes, brushed on beef prior to grilling, or making awesome sandwiches.

  • 2 Tablespoons Old Norse World Cuisine Spice Blend of Your Choice

  • 2 Tablespoons White Vinegar (Use apple cider vinegar for a touch of sweet)

  • 2 Tablespoons warm water

Combine the above ingredients and mix well. Let the mixture sit in the refrigerator for

1 – 2 hours. Adjust the ingredient amounts according to you taste.

Himalayan Mustard Tilapia

Quick recipe for a slight mustard influence over a thin fish fillet. This recipe uses tilapia, but any thin fillet would work beautifully.
